Job opening: Shoreline Chamber of Commerce

The Shoreline Chamber of Commerce is looking for an individual to staff our office in Shoreline. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: (Includes but not limited to) 
  • Staff Chamber office during approved business hours and conduct day to day business operations of the Chamber 
  • Recruit potential members for the Chamber and retain existing members 
  • Provide administrative support to the Chamber Board of Directors 
  • Coordinate and attend events as required 
  • Promote the Chamber is a positive manner to our members, other businesses and government agencies 
  • Implement policies and procedures as delegated by the Board of Directors 
  • Provide all necessary financial reports 
  • Oversee development, implementation and maintenance of the Chamber website 
  • Help coordinate and develop Chamber printed materials 
  • Assist in all fundraising and community activities of the Chamber 
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • 2 to 5 years office administration experience 
  • High School diploma or higher 
  • Competent computer skills 
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is helpful 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Event planning and coordination is helpful 
  • Effective decision-making skills 
  • Self directed; works under limited supervision 
  • Positive, outgoing attitude 
  • Experience with outside sales or recruitment is helpful 
SALARY: DOE but will include opportunity for Commissions
