5-05 to 5-12-2014

Every week - death investigations, suicide attempts, domestic violence, violent people with mental issues, suicide attempts, arrest warrants, drivers with suspended license, credit card identify theft, runaway kids, wandering seniors, well-being checks, natural deaths, driving violations with DUI drivers, tracking sex offenders - and here's the rest:

A - Suspect steals $1.25 lemonade from Central Market, is pursued by security but gets away in vehicle 

Alcohol and drugs - Suspicious car reported near suspected drug house near N 167th and N Park N, occupants were in possession of meth, heroin, and firearms / Witness reported an apparent drug transaction on Serpentine between pedestrian and bicyclist / Truck parked at Shorewood had potting soil, marijuana leaf, and equipment for extracting hash

Arrest - Anonymous tip led police to arrest of subject at 145xx block of Aurora wanted on a felony warrant / Pedestrian violation at 175th and Aurora led to arrest on felony warrants / Citizen report of suspicious men at N 197xx Echo Lake led to arrest on warrants / Person arrested spray painting tags at Metro Aurora Village center

Assault - Drive-by shooting with pellet gun - bicyclist hit in head 162xx 15th NE

Burglary, residential - 15xx NW 171st - pried off bedroom screen and used patio furniture to climb in, stole jewelry and locked bedroom door before exiting through window / Attempted at 160xx 6th NW / Window broken at gain entry 21xx N 171st / Door kicked in at 178xx Ashworth / 165xx 27th burglars entered through open window and stole computer equipment

Burglary, commercial - Front glass shattered at 184th and Aurora Radio Shack but no entry / Successful burglary at Aurora Village Radio Shack, tablets, ipods, headphones stolen / Storage unit at 14900 Aurora

Car prowl - Vehicle in park n ride at N Jackson Park / iPod stolen from vehicle at Kelsey House / Registration stolen from vehicle at Forest Creek condos / 199xx Wallingford / Citizen turned in items found a couple of blocks away from car prowl at 5xx N 185th / 17xx N 145 tools stolen from truck

Cars and parts stolen – Car stolen from driveway 18xx N 147th / Car stolen from street 12xx N 165th / Subject took vehicle on test drive from Rich's Auto Corner and never returned / Vehicle stolen from Lake House parking / Vehicle stolen from Fred Meyer lot

Fraud - Identify theft and tax return fraud / Resident receives phone call from someone claiming to be from King County Sheriff's office / Paypal account opened in victim's name / IRS notified two different victims of income tax fraud using his SSN - no apparent ties to Archdiocese data theft

Larceny, public places - Property stolen from secured entry at Echo Cove condos on Aurora / 3 females shoplifted from Bath and Body Works at Aurora Village / Costco shoplifter arrested for possession of drugs / Purse stolen while victim was loading groceries in car at Costco parking lot / Wallet stolen at Costco and debit card used / Tools stolen from Sears / Shoplifter got away with scallops and prawns from Central Market / Plaza Latina - victim set his groceries by store entrance while he smoked a cigarette, groceries were stolen / Cell phone stolen from Fred Meyer shopper / Arrested Goodwill shoplifter / Items taken from storage shed at Ballinger Commons

Larceny - Pressure washer stolen from yard at 148xx Evanston

Mail theft - Resident put outgoing mail in box at 203xx Wallingford - rent check was washed and cashed / Community mail box at 183rd and Stone pried open / Some stolen mail from 12xx N 173rd was returned by person who found it several blocks away

Trespass -  Inebriated subject trespassed from Cash America pawn shop on Aurora - subject then went to Costco parking lot and hassled people for money / Shoplifter trespassed from Walgreen's at 145th and Aurora / Mentally ill man asked to leave Ballinger liquor store, returned and poured urine-smelling liquid on floor - trespassed from shopping center / Panhandler at Aurora Village / Two men trespassed from Shoreline Motel / Subject with stolen shopping cart trespassing on American Legion property / MacDonalds at 152nd and Aurora asked for two people to be trespassed, one had a warrant and was arrested

Vandalism - Door damaged at Weatherly Apts / Graffiti in stairway at Echo Cove condos

Vandalism, parks, schools - Subject drove donuts on field at Paramount School Park, then crashed in a ditch / Tagging in men's room at Echo Lake park / Tagging on fence on Interurban Trail at 167xx Midvale

Z - Person trespassed from makeshift shelter of pallets and scrap wood at Westover Plaza 15001 Aurora, had electricity from power outlet on air conditioning unit, had apparently been there for an extended period
