Lake Forest Park City Council has changed the day and time of its regularly scheduled work session meetings from the fourth Monday of the month at 6:30pm to the second Thursday of each month, beginning at 6:00pm.
The Council’s work session will now precede the first regular business meeting of the month, which begins at 7:00pm. City Council meetings are open to the public and, unless otherwise noted, held at Lake Forest Park City Hall, 17425 Ballinger Way NE, Lake Forest Park.
Apparently the way to get advance information from the City is to take an inside track by forming or joining a special interest group such as the Save Richmond Beach, Richmond Beach Community Association, Richmond Beach Advocates, or the Shoreline Coalition for Open Government. The individual citizen has to wait until all the "groups" have had a chance to vet and dry the ink on the City's plans. It is no wonder street gangs are prevalent in Shoreline. Look at their role models.
ReplyDeleteMy level of cynicism toward the general public is so great anymore that it doesn't even faze me to see a notice about Lake Forest Park City Council meetings be met with a random comment railing about Shoreline politics. It's just genius enough to work.
