Attention gardeners: New nursery in Mill Creek

Li'l Sprout Nursery in Mill Creek

Once there was Wileywood Nursery, then My Garden and now in the same location on the Bothell Everett Highway is the new nursery in town called Li’l Sprout

Opened in November, this is Li’l Sprouts first garden season serving the people of Mill Creek and surrounding areas.

Steve Compton, who has always had a passion for the natural world, worked in the garden center industry for many years. Pursuing his interest for plants, Steve attended Edmonds Community College and received his degree in greenhouse management.

When the opportunity surfaced to lease the property and greenhouses, Steve thought, “What a great idea. I can combine my love of the garden center lifestyle with my desire to own a business.” With the funding of a bank, family and friends, Steve cleaned up, cleared away and created the business of his dreams.

As a friend of the environment, Li’l Sprout carries organic vegetables and garden supplies such as soils and amendments and fertilizers. Steve also has a hydroponic department for growing plants without soil. A practice many gardeners have discovered and enjoy. Imagine growing vegetables all year long!

Staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help. You may see some familiar faces from the old My Garden and Emery’s Garden as well.

Li’l Sprout carries high quality products suited specifically for the northwest:

  • annuals
  • perennials
  • trees
  • vegetables and herbs
  • houseplants
  • organic soil, compost and amendments
  • organic fertilizers
  • garden décor & accessories
  • containers
  • hydroponics
