Shorewood vs Stanwood tennis 5/2/14

It was a battle between the Wesco North first place team Stanwood versus the Wesco South first place team Shorewood. Shorewood defeated Stanwood 4-3 for the second time this season. The T-Birds opened their season with a 4-3 non conference victory. The second meeting counts as a conference match.Shorewood remained undefeated in Wesco South and improved their record to 10-0 and 12-1 overall.  Junior Genevieve O’ Malley sealed the victory with a third set win by the scores 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.

The T-birds travel to Mountlake Terrace on Monday May 5th with a 3:30pm match start time.
