Busy day at Third Place Commons Saturday

In addition to the Rotary Pinewood Derby, Third Place Commons will be bustling with activity on Saturday, May 3.

Their arts and dance day includes dancers to watch and do-it-yourself art:

Commons Art-In 10am-4pm
Saturday, May 3
Come make art at this free, drop-in creative time for drawing and painting artists. BYO art supplies (no oil paints/solvents, please). All levels of experience welcome! Look for the plastic-covered tables in the Commons.

Spring Bellydance Hafla 1-4pm
Saturday, May 3
A Hafla is a belly dance festival. Celebrate spring with this ancient art, and see a variety of traditional and modern styles performed by local dancers.

Washington School of Dance Spring Performance 4:30-5pm
Saturday, May 3
Enjoy a sampling of Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Modern, and Classical Ballet performed by dancers ranging in age between 7 to 21 years. Washington School of Dance Performance Companies promotes and recognizes young dancers with performance opportunities while instilling self-expression, confidence, esteem, and professionalism. 

Third Place Commons is on the upper level of Lake Forest Park Town Center, at the intersection of Bothell Way and Ballinger Way.
