Shorewood returns to Wesco 3A soccer play Tuesday at Mountlake Terrace after finishing non-conference play with Saturday 3-0 victory at Bothell

The Shorewood boys’ soccer team returns to Western Conference 3A soccer play Tuesday at Mountlake Terrace after finishing its non-conference schedule Saturday with a 3-0 victory over Bothell at Pop Keeney Stadium.

Shorewood takes a 0-0-1 Wesco 3A record (1-1-2 overall) into the match with Mountlake Terrace (0-1. 1-2) at Edmonds School District Stadium at 7: 30pm Tuesday. The Shorewood junior varsity takes a 1-0 (2-2) record into a 5:30pm game against Mountlake Terrace (0-1, 1-2).

In the victory over Bothell, Shorewood started the scoring in the 13th minute on a goal by Taj McChesney, assisted by Garrett Miyaoka. The half ended with Shorewood leading 1-0.

In the second half, McChesney shot from distance and Callahan Gobel deflected it into the near post for Shorewood's second goal. The final tally came on a flick from McChesney to Anthony Pepe for a 3-0 Shorewood win.

Kyle Crawford and Ryan Farley covered the goal for Shorewood.

The Shorewood junior varsity lost to Bothell 3-2.
