Second Use Building Materials, an architectural
salvage yard in the SODO district of Seattle, recently spent over a
week sifting through the old Shorecrest
High School building in attempt to save reusable materials and keep them
out of the landfill.
They recovered hundreds of items including
desks, chairs, maps, lockers, and storage with a lot of life left in
them, not to mention character.
Browse the catalog or buy, but know that everything that could be salvaged, was.
