If the Seahawks defeat the Denver Broncos in the Sunday NFL championship game, Congressman Jim McDermott could win Colorado whiskey, seasonings, tea, toffee, Rocky Mountain Oysters, hormone- and antibiotic-free Callicrate Beef sirloin steaks, from Ranch Foods, a 6-pack of Dry Dock Brewing Company’s Amber Ale, Caution Brewery Bomber Bat barrel-aged smoked robust porter, all courtesy of the seven Colorado members of the U.S. House of Representatives, who each have wagered a delicacy from his or her district against products from each of Washington’s 10 congressional districts.
McDermott has joined Washington’s other nine congressional representatives in a wager on the game Sunday, against the members from Colorado.
McDermott, who represents the 7th Congressional District, including Shoreline and Lake Forest Park in addition to Edmonds, Woodway and most of Seattle, will bet Theo’s Chocolate from Seattle.
Other Washington representatives have bet delicacies from their districts. The entire delegation has added Skittles to the bet.
