Positions are available on the Lake Forest Park Youth Council for LFP residents ages 14-18.
Council members are volunteers who receive community service credit for school requirements. The mission of the Youth Council is to provide a vital link between the youth of the City and the greater community by initiating communication with local government, schools, and businesses.
Youth Council meets regularly on the second Wednesday of every month at City Hall for the school year during the school year. The first meeting of the year is on September 11, 2013 at 7:00pm.
Youth Council members come from diverse backgrounds, live in various areas of Lake Forest Park, and represent local area schools.
