June 10-16, 2013

Every week - death investigations, suicide attempts, domestic violence investigations, child abuse, violent people with mental issues, arrest warrants, drivers with suspended license, runaway kids, wandering seniors

A - Burglar arrested inside Shorewood High School library after breaking roof window with a rock

Alcohol and pedestrians - 3 teenagers with alcohol in Boeing creek park after hours / Drunken pedestrian in North City taken for detox

Alcohol and cars - 2:29am DUI 183rd Aurora / 10:52pm DUI at 100 block of Richmond Beach Road / 12:30am 19 year old at N 175th and Meridian DUI / 3:22am N 200th and Aurora DUI

Arrest - Passenger who jumped out of car at 145th and Aurora after argument with driver was arrested on misdemeanor warrant / Arrested subject on misdemeanor warrant in parking lot of police station

Burglary - Unit broken into at Public Storage / Guitars stolen from townhouse over a 1.5 month period / Attempt to pry open door of apartment at Linden Apts / Homeowner returns to find female in driveway in idling getaway car while male burglar runs out back door at 197xx 10th NE / 22xx NE 177th window broken and house ransacked - owner was recently deceased

Car prowl - 175xx 10th NW / May have been attempting to steal car 183xx 3rd NE - interior of car smelled /

Cars and parts stolen – Car stolen in Mountlake Terrace found at NE 180th with stolen plates / Used key fob to steal car from 1xx NW 185th / Attempted car theft from 76 Station parking lot on 180xx 15th NE / Vehicle stolen at 23xx N 185th recovered in Edmonds

Crime in public places - Car prowl at Shoreview Park, purse taken / Wallet taken from shopping cart just outside front door of Haggen's / Cell phone stolen from woman in rest room at Goodwill / Car window broken at Shoreview Park

Drugs - Mother at Safeway high on drugs, child referred to CPS / Two meth smokers in treeline behind Toni and Guy salon / Individuals behind Rodeway Inn had heroin and meth / Individual using heroin in bathroom at Aurora McDonalds was Trespassed

Exposure - Male exposed himself to female business owners in North City

Found - Found ammunition by neighbor's garbage can at 180xx 8th NE / 175xx Fremont homeowner found Apple keyboards and attached mice in his front yard

Fraud and Forgery - Craig's List scam involving a fraudulent check

Homeless - Person sleeping in car at 195th at Echo Lake

ICE - Man picked up on street was wanted by ICE for deportation

Larceny, businesses – Previously Trespassed individual came back to Aurora Safeway to shoplift / Subject put Bluetooth speakers down his pants and left Costco without paying / Arrest for subject who stole plants after hours from Fred Meyer / Shoplift of alcohol and deli food from Aurora Safeway / Shoplift at North City Safeway

Larceny, private - Items stolen from pickup truck parked at Ballinger Creek apts. / Items taken from porch some time back 152xx 8th NE / Items missing from safe in locked room 300 N Greenwood / Garden hose and cart missing 12xx N 162nd / Bikes stolen from unlocked shed 162xx 15th NE / Unknown suspect took keys from resident's front door at 23xx N 148th / Cell phone stolen from jacket at Shorewood

Mail theft - Resident received mail turned in to the post office by another resident, apparently taken from mail box at 193xx Fremont

Suspicious - Someone has rung subject's doorbell on two different occasion. She's afraid she is being cased at 23xx NW 197th Pl.

Threats - Left voicemail threatening to kill -- case forwarded to detectives

Trespassed from - Paramount House

Vandalism - Resident watched neighbor use object to scratch his car but will not prosecute / Black spray paint at Ridgecrest Park / Rock thrown through picture window of doctor's office at 175th and 12th / Black marker and white and green paint pen at Shoreview Park / Graffiti in black marker at Cromwell Park

Z - Victim shopping at jewelry counter at Goodwill when one person distracted her and the other took her bag. She confronted the subject and retrieved the bag but later realized her money was gone.
