June 2 Campaign Kickoff for Two Shoreline City Councilmembers
The campaigns to reelect Shoreline City Councilmembers Shari Winstead and Will Hall are co-hosting a kickoff celebration at Cromwell Park from 3 to 5pm on Sunday, June 2, 2013.
This is a great opportunity to meet some of your elected officials and support their reelection campaigns. King County Sheriff John Urquhart, King County Councilmember Rod Dembowski, and many other state and local leaders are scheduled to appear.
The Bill Derry Band will be performing live to support the campaigns. Fronted by Bill Derry and featuring John Kim on drums and Gary Siegel on bass, they play an energetic mix of adult contemporary music.
Refreshments will be provided. Campaign contributions are welcome. For an invitation, call Will at 206-569-0099 or email Will@ElectWillHall.com or Shari@ShariWinstead.com.
For more information about the campaigns, visit the websites at www.ShariWinstead.com and www.ElectWillHall.com.

Apply your policy on election postings, please.
We will publish kick off information for any local candidate who sends it to us.
last weekend there was a posting notifying readership of a new policy on election-related items and a link for all election related items, the policy included no comments on campaign announcements.
please be consistent, the link is now GONE.
The link is on the front page, left column, under Features. It is called "Candidates" and is only for campaign announcements and perhaps other articles about the candidates' positions. All political articles are tagged as "politics" There is a tab on the front page on the top bar. This will pull up every political article in order of publication.
I guess I have to link to your own story so you can find your own policy:

"Comments will not be allowed for announcements or kick-offs."
The story I'm commenting upon here in reminding you about your policy is a KICKOFF, got it? It that easier for you to understand now?
Please be consistent in enforcing your policy, or it is not a policy.
