Shoreline Community College Baseball, for the first time in years, enters the final two weekends of NWAACC Northern Region play with important games on the line. A team that was 6-36 last season is 18-16-1 this season, 6-10 in the region, but only 2 games out of 3rd place and 1 game out of 4th, the final playoff spot in the region.

SCC faced Skagit Valley College Saturday in Mt. Vernon, WA and then Sunday at Meridian Park in Shoreline, WA. SVC is 16-15 on the year and 7-9 in the region, one game ahead of SCC for that final playoff spot. Game time Sunday is 3:00pm. Both days feature a 7 inning game then 9 inning game in a doubleheader.

Bellevue College also has a 6-10 region record starting the day as well, as 4 teams battle for the final two playoff sports. Douglas College (12-13, 8-8) takes on league leading Everett CC (31-6, 18-2) this weekend while Bellevue (19-16, 6-10) takes on last place Olympic College (12-23, 2-14).

Shoreline faces Olympic in the final weekend next Saturday and Sunday.
