Shorewood plays tennis match at Stanwood Friday after victories Monday and Tuesday, unfinished match Thursday

The Shorewood girls’ tennis team plays at Stanwood Friday after victories Monday and Tuesday and the postponement of a home meeting with Glacier Peak Thursday.

Shorewood and Stanwood meet at 3:30pm Friday at Stanwood High School, with junior varsity teams from the two schools playing at the same time at Shorewood’s home Shoreview Park courts.

The Thursday varsity meeting with Glacier Peak at Glacier Peak High School was stopped with one match left to be completed when the two teams meet April 30 at Shoreview Park. The junior varsity match between the two schools was postponed.

The Shorewood varsity won a rain-shortened match at Marysville-Pilchuck, 4-1, Monday. The Shorewood junior varsity defeated Marysville-Pilchuck 7-0.

The Thunderbirds defeated Oak Harbor, 6-1, Tuesday. The T-bird JVs defeated Oak Harbor 6-1.
