Shorewood plays home soccer game Wednesday after 2-0 victory over Meadowdale

The Shorewood boys' soccer team meets Marysville-Pilchuck at Shoreline Stadium Wednesday after a 2-0 home victory over Meadowdale Wednesday.

In the victory over Meadowdale, Thunderbird Danny Han scored his third goal of the season to give Shorewood a 1-0 halftime lead.

In the 65th minute, Matt Owen scored Shorewood's second goal on a cross from Anthony Pepe.

Shorewood goalie Calvin Crawford recorded the shutout.

The victory gave Shorewood a 2-1-1 Wesco 3A record (4-1-1 overall). Meadowodale is 1-3-0 (1-5-1).

Shorewood and Marysville-Pilchuck (2-1-1, 3-2-2) meet at 7:30pm Wednesday, with junior varsity teams from the two schools playing at 5:30pm.
