Shorewood girls return to Wesco 3A tennis play Tuesday after non-league loss to Woodinville Friday

The Shorewood girls' tennis team returns to Western Conference 3A play Tuesday after a non-league loss to 4A Woodinville Friday.

The loss Friday to Woodinville dropped Shorewood’s overall record to 2-3.

The Thunderbirds take a 1-1 Wesco 3A record into a match at Mountlake Terrace Monday at 3:30 p.m. Junior varsity teams from the two schools meet at the same time at Shorewood’s home Shoreview Park courts.

Shoreline lost to Woodinville, 6-0, with the No. 1 tennis match between Daniella Brengelmann of Shorewood and her Woodinville opponent not played because of rain.

The Shorewood junior varsity took a 2-3 record into a home meeting with Woodinville.
