Shorecrest plays home baseball game with Meadowdale Friday after losses Tuesday and Wednesday

The Shorecrest baseball team plays host to Meadowdale Friday after a home loss to Meadowdale Tuesday and a loss at Meadowdale Wednesday.

Shorecrest takes a 1-6 Western Conference 3A record (2-8 overall) into the game with Meadowdale (5-0, 6-2) at 4 p.m. Friday at Shorecrest High School, with junior varsity teams from the two schools playing at the same time at Meadowdale High School.

The Shorecrest varsity lost a home game to Meadowdale, 9-4, Tuesday. Tim Swan led the Scots, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI. Brady Dixon also hit a double. Zane May was the losing pitcher.

The Scots then lost 6-1 at Meadowdale Wednesday. Losing pitcher Keegan Small dropped his record to 1-2.

The Shorecrest junior varsity lost 10-0 at Meadowdale Tuesday and lost a home game to Meadowdale 17-2 Wednesday to drop the Scot JVs’ record to 0-7 Wesco 3A, 1-9 overall).
