The Shoreline Community College Men's and Women's Tennis Teams dropped their opening matches of the season to Skagit Valley College on Friday in Mt. Vernon, WA.

The SCC Men's Tennis Team lost a tough 5-4 match as the Dolphins showed dominance in the lower seeds, winning 3 through 6 singles, but dropping matches at 1 and 2, but SVC won the match in doubles play, sweeping all three matches.

The SCC Women's Team, playing short-handed with only 4 players, lost 9-0, having to forfeit 3 matches. SCC only won games in #2 singles.

The Lady Dolphins also lost to Bellevue College on Sunday, 8-1, as again SCC had to forfeit 3 matches due to the lack of players, but SCC's #1 player, Sami Towne won her match, 6-1, 6-4 over Bellevue.

The Dolphins open there home schedule on Saturday at 10:00am against the Community Colleges of Spokane at Shoreview Park.
