New Shorewood High School on target to open September 2013

The construction of the new Shorewood High School remains on schedule for the new buildings to open in September 2013. 

Elevator installation at both elevator locations is on-going

Exterior metal panels installation continues around both the theater, classroom and athletic areas

Windows at the library, commons, main entry and south classroom entry are 95 percent complete

The gymnasium building.

Painting of the gym ceilings is under way. Ceiling grid installation continues in all areas of the building

Following completion of the gym ceiling painting, athletic equipment will be installed followed by the wood floors

Casework and corridor panels are being installed on all levels of the classroom building and nearing completion

Main electrical room has been energized with permanent power to the building.

Restroom flooring, fixtures and wall tile installation is ongoing.
