Letter to the Editor: very little police presence in our area

To the Editor:

I and my family live at NE 191st Street in LFP.

We and our neighbors are very alarmed by the increasing amount of residential robberies in our immediate area.

On top of this we have seen very little police patrol presence in our area.

I am away frequently on business and my wife and 3 young children are at home.

We do, however see a large amount of police activity focused on traffic, speeding, etc.

We need more patrol cars monitoring the safety of neighborhoods, not sitting in speed traps on Lake City Way writing tickets.
