Local reporter and police volunteer Patricia Hale wants to correct an item in the police blotter that reported "Vandalism at Images Styling Salon, 523 NW 165th".
According to Patty, and confirmed by police:
"The vandalism did not happen at Images. It was reported by the owner of Images. Actually - what she was reporting was vandalism at the Eastside Police Neighborhood Center on NE 165th,
"Ridgecrest Neighborhood posted the following on Facebook on March 28th - with approval from the Shoreline Police Department:"
"Did you happen to notice more activity than usual last week at the Shoreline Police Eastside Neighborhood Center, 521 NE 165th ?
Mid-week, the interior received a fresh coat of paint. That was a good thing! But, not such good things also happened.
Part of the activity was generated by 2 different crimes that occurred at that location.Sometime during the evening of March 18th or early morning of the 19th, the glass in the front door was broken. Then on the evening of the 21st or early morning of the 22nd, someone tagged the front windows - using words not appropriate on this page.
If you saw anything suspicious – or have heard anything about who or what –Please contact Officer Leona Obstler at (206) 391-9995"
