Shorewood grad wins college conference swimming title

Laurin Williams, 2010 Shorewood graduate, won the Division 1- Mid- America Conference Swimming title for the 1650 yard Free this last weekend.
She also placed 2nd in the 500 yard freestyle and 6th in the 400IM. The 1650 and 500 times are "B" cut times for the NCAA meet. Thursday she will find out if she is invited to the NCAA meet held this year in Indianapolis, March 21, 22, 23.
Laurin is a junior and swims for Ohio University located in Athens, Ohio. Her college team is the Bobcats.
