Crime in Shoreline A-Z - dumb kids, lots of drunks, roommate from hell

March 4 - 10, 2013

Arrest  -  Stopped driver with suspended license and found crack cocaine 

Assault - Sidewalk outside methadone clinic, one client lunged at the other with a knife 

Bicycle - Two bikes locked together with a cable lock inside a garage, cable cut, bikes stolen 

Burglary – Broke into backyard shed and stole tools at 7xx N 148 / Attempted to pry open back window at 13xx N 195th / Popped screen off rear window at Autumn Ridge Apts -likely interrupted by homeowner / Camera stolen from Sears portrait gallery  

Car prowl - Car parked at Jiffy Lube - broke window, stole wallet / Broke window, stole laptop 155th and 1st / Broke window of car at 15xx NE 148th / Car owner confronted car prowlers, who then attempted to run him down 170xx 10th NW 

Car theft –  Car stolen from Blakeley by "loosely known subject" / License plates stolen from car parked in residential driveway 163xx Blake Ave N / Man left his delivery box truck unlocked and running in the 1100 block of N 152nd - it was stolen / Car tabs stolen from car in parking lot at Echo Lake Condos / Car stolen from Garden Condos / Rear license plate stolen from car parked on road shoulder outside apartment complex at 148xx Whitman N / Car stolen from apartment complex at 150xx NE 150th  

Dumb kids - Einstein student took some of her mother's medical marijuana, a glass pipe and a lighter to school / Five girls smoking marijuana in the alley between 25th and 26th - neighbor called to report them / Boy takes mother's car for joy ride in Echo Lake Apts parking lot - crashes into several parked cars, then he and friends run from police / Found controlled substances and knives at Shorewood which were turned in for disposal / Possessions stolen from student's unlocked gym locker during track and field practice

Drunk - Female passed out drunk behind wheel of running car in middle of street at 147xx 1st NE / Police stopped driver on Aurora for illegal turn, arrested for DUI / Driver speeding on Aurora, arrested for DUI / Individual drunk at Aurora Transit Center / Agitated and drunk individual refused to leaves Shay's and attempted to take a nap on the bar floor / Individual found intoxicated, disoriented, stumbling along Aurora - taken to detox / Compass House resident found drunk in parking lot. Refused assistance from Shoreline Fire, who took him home and turned him over to House manager / Driver stopped because vehicle had expired tabs, found to be drunk 

Graffiti - Ridgecrest Park

Larceny, Public –  Empty beer kegs stolen from back yard of Jersey's Bar / Individual who stole alcohol from Costco had crack pipe and outstanding warrants / Couple got away with six bottles of alcohol from Safeway / 18 pack of beer taken from mini-mart

Mail theft - Mail box stolen 165xx 8th NE - this has happened before

Mental issues - Mentally disabled neighbor continues to harass - Trespassed / Depressed females took bottle of oxycodone and hydrocodone / Suicide attempt with box cutter

Prostitutes - Incident of prostitution and pimping at Rodeway Inn

Roommate from hell - Roommate hits victim with hatchet and threatens to kill him.

Suspicious - Contacted suspicious persons walking along Aurora - both had outstanding warrants and male gave a false name 

Trespass -  Boyfriend of female at methadone clinic made a scene and was trespassed / Starbucks in Aurora Village Trespassed a homeless person who was using his shopping cart to block the doorway / Shoplifter Trespassed from Central Market / Individual Trespassed from Haggen's 

Z - Individual called police to report that he had been assaulted - hit from behind and knocked down - then robbed. He reported that this happened July 31, 2012. / Unknown vehicle follows car, passenger gets out and jumps on hood of victim's car, causing damage 199xx 15th NE
