Will Hall will run for Shoreline City Council |
The following statement is from Will Hall, who, along with Rep. Cindy Ryu, was a finalist for the vacant District 1 King County Council seat formerly held by Bob Ferguson, Washington state Attorney General. The appointment went to attorney Rod Dembowski.
It was an honor to be considered for appointment to the King County Council. I would like to thank all of the people who gave me support, encouragement, and inspiration along the way.
I congratulate Rod Dembowski on winning the appointment, and I commend Representative Ryu and all of the candidates for their hard work and commitment to public service.
After talking with friends and family, I am pleased to announce that I will run for reelection to the Shoreline City Council this fall. It is a privilege to serve my community and I take that responsibility very seriously.By listening to your ideas and working together, we have made great progress toward a sustainable environment, a stronger economy, and healthy neighborhoods.I would like to continue working for you for the next four years, and I look forward to hearing from you about how to keep Shoreline at the top of the list of best places to live in the northwest.
