A week of crime 1-28 to 2-3-2013
A - Suspicious circumstances - couple found a strange t-shirt within their bed.
All in the family - Box of change missing from home, suspects sister. / Son with heroin addiction stole game console from parents. / Mother takes game box from son as punishment, he punches wall and throws box on pavement. / Daughter steals firearm after domestic violence incident. / Duplex broken into and tv and game console stolen, suspects son.
Arrest – Man wandering around Innis Arden in the rain, booked on outstanding warrants. / (Stolen) Car running with no key, evidence of car prowls, driver and passenger booked on warrants.
Bicycle - Ten year old's bike stolen from Fred Meyer. / Bike stolen from secured bike rack in front of Walgreen's at 145th.
Burglary – 189xx 16 NE house set back from street so no one saw burglar climbing in kitchen window. / 184xx 12 NE pried front door open and pushed through chain. / 195xx 26 NW pushed open bedroom window. / 187xx Ridgefield Rd forced entry through bedroom window, got computers and jewelry. / 201xx NE 147th attempt to pry open doors was unsuccessful.
Car theft – Costco parking lot. / Loaned car to someone who failed to return it. / Meadowbrook Apts. Victim was warming up her car when suspect got in it and drove away.
Casinos - Two people got in an argument at Goldie's and one hit the other.
Forgery/Fraud - Suni's took bad checks from "known mail thieves." / Man lost checkbook at Fred Meyer, at least one check forged and used. / Lost debit card and someone used it. / Wallet stolen at Rec Center and bank card used on Amazon. / Mountlake Terrace resident opened Comcast account in the name of a Shoreline resident, then didn't pay the bill.
Larceny – Arabella Apts - a guest apparently left with the hostess' diamond ring. / Shorewood - two different students had iPads stolen at school. / Theft from SCC locker. / Cable cut and public laptop stolen from Aurora Safeway. / Wallets stolen from unlocked lockers at YMCA.
Mental issues - Safeway gas pumps, person with history of mental illness and no treatment, has been in possession of firearms and swords. / Disabled veteran threatened to kill himself. / Ibuprofen overdose, possible to get attention of ex. / Man entered a business wearing no pants, was still standing there when police arrived. / Suicidal woman with psychosis.
Shoplifting – Radio Shack, two speakers. / Aurora Safeway, woman had items in purse, gave a false name, had outstanding warrants. / Goodwill - 3 times. / Fred Meyer - 2 times. / RiteAid - two women filled bags and left the store.
Smash and grab - Car in business parking lot, thieves broke car window with screwdriver and took bags from seat. / Vehicle in private driveway, lock jimmied and music equipment stolen. / Alaska visitor had his car prowled at 197xx Wallingford, documents taken. / Hamlin Park. / Living Wisdom School parking lot. / Seattle Grace Presbyterian, got a laptop from vehicle in parking lot. / A Place for Kids child care parking lot. / 24 Hour Fitness Ballinger - got backpack with credit cards.
Taggers – Retaining walls on N 175th marked with initials. / Skate park at Paramount School Park.
Trespass - Patron made a scene at adult video store. / Double Trespass from both 7-11 and North City Tavern the same day. / North City Safeway. / Intoxicated Tent City #3 resident gets in dispute with another resident and is asked to leave.
Vandalism – Sign cut at St. Lukes.
Z - Refrigerator stolen from apartment under renovation at 145th and Bothell Way - have a suspect in mind.
