With snow in the forecast early Thursday morning for parts of Puget Sound, WSDOT reminds drivers to allow extra time and take it slow during the morning commute.

WSDOT is prepared for snow and ice. Stopping distance increases in snowy conditions.

Drivers are reminded to leave at least three times more space than usual between their car and the vehicle in front of them.

Other tips can be found on the WSDOT winter weather website.
