Writing Workshop: Write Now!

Monday, January 7, 2013

Do you want to write, but find that you don't make the time? Need some help with accountability and writing exercises to get your words on the page?

The focus of Write Now! is to get productive about your writing. Each week, you'll have an opportunity to identify an achievable writing goal, learn one strategy to develop a regular writing practice, complete in-class writing exercises, and share your work with other participants, if you wish.

This workshop is intended for beginning and intermediate writers of fiction and non-fiction.

  • Date: Thursdays evenings (January 17, 24, 31 and February 7, 2013)
  • Time: 6:30 - 8:00 pm at the Spartan Recreation Center
  • Course number: 63587
  • Cost: $100 for residents; $125 for non-residents

The workshop is taught by local freelance writer, Liz Sheffield. Registration starts January 3 for residents and January 7 for non-residents.
