Water main construction to begin in Ridgecrest

Friday, January 11, 2013

Development Services of America (DSA) and Shoreline Water District are jointly undertaking the first of two projects to improve the water system in the Ridgecrest neighborhood.

The first project will be occurring along NE 160th Street between 8th and 10th Avenue NE. This project will beginning the third week of January and take approximately three weeks. During this time, traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction during daylight hours. You can expect to see some construction signs and/or a metal plate in the roadway. We would ask you to slow down in the construction zone and be considerate of the contractor’s safety.

The second project will occur along 155th Street between 5th and 9th Avenue NE, beginning in early February with construction also taking approximately 3 weeks. The construction will be limited at this location to between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.

If you have any further questions/comments about this project, please contact Denny Clouse at Shoreline Water District, 206.362.8100.
