The annual meeting of ShoreDog will be 10 am, Saturday, Jan. 12 at the Richmond Beach Library, 19601 21st Ave N.W.

Items up for discussion include a potential third park site, election of officers and a recap of the 2012.

ShoreDog is a non-profit, volunteer, stewardship group for the city’s two dog off-leash parks. It is dedicated to establishing and supporting neighborhood dog off-leash areas with the City of Shoreline where well behaved canine citizens can exercise, play and socialize with other dogs and their people in a clean, safe environment.

There are currently two off-leash areas in Shoreline: Shoreview Off-Leash Park, which is a traditional fenced park by Shoreline Community College; and a winter seasonal area at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park that is unfenced and open from Nov. 1 through March 15.
