Feb. 12 will be election day in Seattle and many places around Washington but not in Shoreline or Lake Forest Park. That's because no local entity has proposed any ballot measure for the February election.
The date is one of four possible dates for special elections in the State. The others are in April, August and November, with the August date coinciding with the primary election and the November date coinciding with the general election.
