Mudslide cancels Sounder North trains through Friday

Another mudslide has caused the cancelation of the Sounder North train to Seattle through Friday.

Slope stability will continue to be evaluated to determine whether commuter rail service can resume on Monday

A mudslide south of Mukilteo has caused BNSF Railway to institute a 48-hour moratorium on passenger rail operation along the Everett-Seattle corridor, canceling Sounder North Line service through at least Friday, Jan. 4.

BNSF will continue to evaluate slope conditions to determine whether passenger rail service can resume on Monday.

Information on alternate bus service options is available here.
