CORRECTION: Shorewood girls’ home basketball game with Oak Harbor is Wednesday

The Shorewood girls’ home basketball game with Oak Harbor will be Wednesday, not Tuesday as we wrongly reported yesterday.

  

Shorewood takes a 4-1 Western Conference 3A record (9-3 overall) into the game against Oak Harbor (1-3 Wesco 3A, 4-7) at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at Shorewood High School.

  

The Shorewood junior varsity team takes a 2-3 Wesco 3A record (5-6) into a game with the Oak Harbor JVs (3-2 Wesco 3A) at 5:40, with “C” teams from the two schools meeting at 3:45.

  

For the varsity season, Masha Shtikel leads the Thunderbirds with 243 points in 12 games for an average of 24.3 points per game. The T-birds are tied with Glacier Peak for first in the Wesco 3A South division.
