Chief Dennis Petersen honored at retirement gathering

Retiring Lake Forest Park Police Chief Dennis Petersen was honored at a gathering at City Hall on Thursday, January 3, 2013.
Mayor Mary Jane Goss presented the Chief with a commemorative plaque from the City.
Officers gave him a new bag of golf clubs to get his retirement on course.
Citizens, officers, council members, reminisced and wished him well.

Chief Peterson, along with the current council and officers, worked together to attain state accrediation. That is a respectable feat in itself and one the chief can gladly retire on.
