Two fundraisers this weekend for Lake Forest Park couple battling cancer

Jodi Knudson has been fighting breast cancer for 12 years. Last month, her husband Steve was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Steve was the breadwinner and his short-term disability pay is not enough to get them by. They have two daughters attending high school.

The Alderwood Gene Juarez Salon is holding a benefit day for the couple this Friday, December 14. 

Friends are hosting a movie night at the Lake Forest Park Civic Club Sunday and collecting donations.
