Stolen van recovered

From the Northwest School for Hearing-Impaired Children

HOORAY!  WE GOT OUR STOLEN VAN BACK!

We are thrilled to report that Friday December 14, we recovered the van that was stolen nearly two weeks ago! Appropriately named “Mystery,” the returned vehicle appears to be in good condition though we are having it thoroughly checked out before pressing it back into service transporting kids.

Everyone at Northwest School for Hearing-Impaired Children is very grateful  for the outpouring of support and concern we experienced on the loss of our van.

We’ve had calls from neighbors, the Shoreline Fire Fighters, and others, with many creative offers of help.

The entire experience has been a great reminder of the community spirit and care we enjoy in Shoreline and the greater Seattle area.

  1. Now if only NW School and the other property owners in Aurora Square could get their property rights back from the City.
