The Shoreline Community College Women's Basketball Team were defeated by Southwestern Oregon 81-72 on Friday night in the NWAACC Crossover Tournament at Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA.

Shoreline only trailed by 2 points with 2 minutes to go, but turnovers and missed shots doomed the Dolphins down the stretch.

SCC shot better in the game, making 42% of their shots, but SWOCC had a big advantage in free-throw, being sent to the line 35 times and making 22, while SCC only shot 12 free-throws, making 6.

Shoreline was led by Hannah Stanger with 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Emily Wilbur was almost equally good, with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Chelsea Padgett scored 12 points, the only other Dolphins in double figures.

SCC is 4-3 on the season now and face winless Green River Community College today at 3:00pm. If SCC wins today, they will play tomorrow at Noon in the consolation final. If SCC loses today, they are finished in the tournament. GRCC lost to host Columbia Basin College 71-42 on Friday.
