The 46th District Democrats will hold a special business meeting on December 13, 2012 to conduct three pieces of business relative to the impending vacancy in the 1st County Council District seat (due to Bob Ferguson's election to the office of Washington State Attorney General). The appointment to fill this vacancy will be made by the King County Executive.

The meeting will be called to order at 7pm promptly (i.e. no social hour) with a Candidate Forum for Council Position 1 candidates, followed by approval of the endorsement rules, and the endorsement process.

The meeting will be held at:

Olympic View Elementary
504 NE 95th Street
Seattle, WA 98115

All PCOs (precinct committee officers) and 46th LD Members in good standing are eligible to vote in the endorsement process. Voting by proxy is not allowed.
We will be transmitting our endorsement decision to King County Executive Dow Constantine and the members of the Citizen's Board he has asked to help with this process. The endorsement process at this special meeting is solely for the appointment process and will not carry over into the 2013 election for this seat.
