Anxhelos Pere leads Shorewood to a come from behind football victory over Stanwood

Anxhelos Pere scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns to help Shorewood come back for a 28-14 victory over Stanwood in the second game of a football double header at Shoreline Stadium Friday.

The loss ends Shorewood's season with a 2-8 record.

After Shorewood scored on a return of a fumble on the opening kickoff, Stanwood took a 14-6 halftime lead before Shorewood came back in the fourth quarter with two touchdowns, one extra point and a field goal.

Sam Smith scored the first T-bird touchdown of the game when he recovered a Stanwood fumble on the opening kickoff and returned it for 6 points.
