Shorewood tennis victory over Glacier Peak moves T-birds into sole Wesco 3A South lead; Scots now second

The Shorewood boys' tennis team defeated Glacier Peak 4-3 at Glacier Peak Thursday to break a tie for the Western Conference 3A South lead.
Shorewood has a 9-2 Wesco record (11-3 overall). Shorecrest’s 6-2 victory at Meadowdale gave the Scots second place with an 8-3 league record (10-4 overall).
The Shorewood junior varsity lost to Shorecrest, 4-3, Wednesday and defeated Glacier Peak, 5-2, both at Shorewood’s home Shoreview Park courts.
The Thunderbirds meet Meadowdale Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Shoreview Park, with junior varsity teams from the two schools meeting at the same time at Meadowdale.
