Shorewood takes a 1-8 football record into its final game after a 21-19 loss at Everett in a Western Conference 3A crossover game that matched the No. 5 teams from the Wesco 3A South and North divisions.

The loss left the Thunderbirds 10th in the 10-team Wesco 3A and set up a game Nov. 1 or 2 against another Northwest District 4A, 3A or 2A team that hasn’t qualified for quad-district games that qualify teams for the State round of 16, Nov. 9-10.
