Coach Wilkins reports:
Today it was #4 seed Shorewood vs #1 seed Everett.
The first half saw Shorewood bring a very strong possession game that frustrated Everett. Both teams had a couple chances but it ended in a 0-0 tie.
In the second half, Everett turned things up a notch and scored in the 48th minute from a corner kick by defender Rosie Sittauer. Everett continued to have more of the attack and scored again in the 62nd minute on a goal by Morgan McCarthy.
The game was put out of reach on a third score. This one was finished by Bailey McMullen. I believe Katie Johnson was in goal for Everett and Shorewood used Ashley Swan and Ashley Garay.
Everett is 1-0 in playoffs and plays Tuesday in the semi finals. Shorewood is 0--1 and plays Tuesday in the losers bracket.
