Perceptions Abroad of America
and the World
Humphrey Fellows, University of Washington, Evans
School of Public Affairs
How do people in other countries view the U.S.,
especially during a Presidential election campaign? The Humphrey
Fellows are a group of mid-level executives from ten different countries
who participate in one year of advanced non-degree study at the Evans
School to gain hands-on experience with and theoretical knowledge of
how the U.S. approaches work in their professional fields.
They also visit communities like Shoreline to engage with students and
members of the community in order to that deepen their understanding
of American culture and share their perceptions and experiences.
Friday, October 19,
11:30-12:30 p.m.
Shoreline Community College, 16101 Greenwood Ave. North, Room 9208

This event is FREE

Part of the symposium, America and the World in a Presidential Election Year, organized
