Are you registered to vote? Check here

The Washington State Secretary of State's office has a nifty website that allows you to verify your voter registration, change your address, look at candidates and ballot measures, check out your elected officials, and find where to return your ballot.
Remember that all balloting in Washington state is now by mail. You can fill out and return your ballot as soon as you get it, or wait until closer to the election day deadline of November 6, 2012.
Go to the website and enter your first name, last name, and date of birth. That's all you need.
You can only register online today but it's too late to mail in your changes, which needed to be postmarked by Saturday. Come Monday, you need to go in person to Renton to register, if online didn't work. Here are the details, in a story by Evan Smith.
The site is currently not displaying places to drop completed ballots; however our location is by City Hall in Lake Forest Park, 17171 Bothell Way NE, 98155.
The exception to the all-mail ballots are the accessible voting locations. Evan Smith wrote a story about those for the primary election. See it here.
If you still have questions, here is the contact info for the King County Elections:
Phone: 206-296-8683
When you are viewing elections returns, remember that our state legislative districts cross county lines into Snohomish County. There have been many elections where the candidate won King and lost Snohomish. You need to count them together - or check the ShorelineAreaNews,
