Shoreline Community College Dolphins |
The Shoreline Community College Athletic Department, in a working relationship with FX Video, has now placed all SCC “Home” games live online. You can watch the Dolphins home games online at “FX_Video” and can watch copies of the games on the site as well.
The SCC Athletic Department also offers games on its “YouTube Site” as well, plus on YouTube, you can find copies of past away games when available.
SCC Athletic Director Doug Palmer |
Said SCC Athletic Director Doug Palmer: “The relationship with FX Video to show our home games live is outstanding, it allows parents, friends and fans from around the world to watch our games from the comfort of their homes or anywhere they have their computer, laptop, IPAD or phone. Plus, with the use of YouTube, our recruits, four year college coaches and again, fans, family and friends can watch our games at their convenience. Since we launched our YouTube site last year, over 12,500 individuals have viewed our games, it has been a great help to our student-athletes being recruited by four year colleges and for future Dolphins to follow our program and teams.Palmer continued: “We are one of the most social media friendly athletic departments at the community college level in the country and it has helped us build a fan base that in some cases; the fan has never seen us play live or stepped on our campus. Not perfect or what we really want, but it spreads the word of our department and college to places we would not reach otherwise”.
Currently, SCC games now available on YouTube are SCC Volleyball Vs Northwest Indian College and SCC Men’s and Women’s Soccer Vs Trinity Lutheran College. More games will be available shortly and the process of live games going to the YouTube site faster is in the works.
The next FX Video broadcast of a SCC Game will be Friday night, September 28 at 7:00pm, as the Lady Dolphin Volleyball Team plays arch rival, Edmonds Community College in the SCC Gym. For sport schedules and more information, go to the SCC Athletic Website.
