SCC Names Arianna Garcia "Volleyball Player of the Week"

Freshman Arianna Garcia has been named the Shoreline Community College Volleyball Player of the Week for her performance during the week of September 17-23. 

The Lady Dolphins went 1-1 for the week, defeating Skagit Valley College 3-0 last Wednesday, but dropping a 0-3 match to Olympic College on Friday night. Garcia, a freshman from Lynnwood High School, had 9 kills in the losing effort against OC and led SCC on offense against Skagit Valley.

SCC Volleyball is 4-9 on the season and 1-1 in the NWAACC Northern Region. SCC faces arch rival Edmonds Community College on Friday night in the SCC Gym at 7:00pm. The game can be seen "Live" online on FX Video.
