The 46th Legislative District apparently will have Democrat vs. Democrat general elections for both House seats in November after results of the Tuesday primary.

In the one contested primary, Democrats Jesslyn Farrell and Sarajane Siegfriedt led two other Democrats, a Republican and an independent to advance to the general election.

Farrell led the primary in votes counted through Tuesday night with 28 percent of the primary votes to Siegfriedt’s 22 percent, Republican Scott Hodges’ 19 percent, Democrat Shelley Crocker's 17 percent, Democrat Dusty Hoerler’s 12 percent and independent Stan Lippmann’s 2 percent.

Farrell and Siegfriedt will run off for the position now held by retiring Democratic State Rep. Phyllis Kenny.

The District includes Lake Forest Park, Kenmore and northeast Seattle.

Incumbent Democratic State Rep. Gerry Pollet and Democratic challenger Sylvester Cann were the only candidates on the primary ballot for the position that Pollet holds by appointment. They will meet again in November.

Incumbent Democratic State Sen. David Frockt was unopposed in the primary and will be unopposed again in November.
