Shoreline’s 3rd Annual “Where Our Wild Things Are” (WOWTA) Backyard Habitat Tour is taking place today, Saturday, July 7th, from 10am - 3pm.

It’s a free community event, open to the public, and includes six backyard habitats certified by the National Wildlife Federation. To attend the tour, please come to the Highland Terrace Elementary School anytime between 10am and 2pm to pick up a tour guide packet with a list of the habitats and directions to them. All six featured habitats are located within the Highland Terrace and the Richmond Highlands neighborhoods.

Our beautiful Northwest Summer weather has finally arrived! So, before you head out for the mountains and the lakes, why not take a few hours to explore the beauty located within Shoreline’s backyard. Come be a part of a very special community that is growing every year, and help us continue to protect Shoreline’s wildlife habitat!
