State Rep. Gerry Pollet may get a new candidate rating from the King County Municipal league.
The Municipal league web site says that 46th District Rep Pollet’s current rating is under review.
When the League released its ratings Monday it gave Pollet its third highest rating, “good,” while Democratic challenger Sylvester Cann got a “very good” rating.
The two are the only candidates for the position, meaning that both will advance from the Aug. 7 primary to the Nov. 6 general election. No Republicans or independents have filed for the position.
Pollet has held the position by appointment since late last year.
At the time of the original rating, the League website listed Pollet's campaign questionnaire as "missing", but the site now has a link to the completed questionnaire.
Pollet said Saturday that, before the original ratings, the League apparently had lost his completed questionnaire and letters of reference from two legislative committee chairmen.
The 46th Legislative District includes Lake Forest Park, Kenmore and northeast Seattle.

I am very glad to hear that the Muni-League is reviewing Rep Gerry Pollett's rating. Incredible that they say they "lost" his questionnaire.
Sounds questionable all around to me.
Gerry Pollett is highly qualified and has been doing an exemplary job of representing his district since being appointed last fall. He has received the endorsement of King County Democrats and 28 other organizations, including MLK Labor Council and WA Conservation Voters and NARAL.
Here is a link to his endorsement list.

I truly hope that voters will consider the complete record beyond the Muni League. That organization and rating process is run by volunteers, so it is understandable why they may have made a mistake.
Awesome! I now have all of the information I need about Rep. Gerry Pollett! I love knowing who endorses a candidate!
It helps one know who to vote for, and who not to vote for!
I believe the league should fully review Pollet's submission. Although they are ranked individually, this could provide important context for the race. As it stands, it's hard to take either ranking as legitimate considering Representative Pollet was not granted the same opportunity for review as his opponent and colleagues. If the League is undertaking this as a new project, I hope they will practice the due diligence necessary to ensure it it's successful.
