Children and Families

Stories Under the Tree

Monday, July 9, 16, 23 and 30, Noon

Family program, all ages welcome with adult.

Spread out a blanket in the shade, bring a lunch and a friend for stories, songs, and silliness under the big tree in the community park near the library.

If the weather is uncooperative, this program will be held in the library meeting room.

Toddler Story Times

Your Place in Space Workshop

Presented by Pacific Science Center-Science On Wheels.

Use a solar system map to find planets and discover why earth is the best place in space for people to live.

Where the Wild Things Are Theatre Workshop

Presented by Youth Theatre Northwest.

Ages 3 and older with adult.

It’s bedtime for Max, but he’s not ready to go to sleep. And neither will you be when you sail with him on a fantastic voyage to where the wild things are. Explore Max’s journey using the five senses and dramatic play. Let the wild rumpus begin!

Pajammin' Party Concert

Presented by Brian Waite Band.

Ages 3 and older with adult.

When Brian and Todd fall asleep with their bellies stuffed full of snacks, find yourself in the middle of their zany dreams, being chased by furry sharks and buzzing around a magical forest with a giant bumble bee! PJ's welcome!
