Learning More About Depression - Monday July 9 at Shoreline UU Church

Learning More About Depression, with Merry Miller, MD, Monday, July 9, 7 - 8:30pm in the Shoreline Sanctuary of the Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Church.

You are invited to join Dr. Miller on July 9 as she invites us all to Learn More about Depression. Dr. Miller recently stepped down after 11 years as chair of her of the Psychiatry Department at East Tennessee State University, department and she is currently writing a book about depression. 

Merry’s talk will cover many aspects of depression - how to recognize it and as well as ways to resolve it. Merry has extensive experience with depression, and she told us she enjoys seeing her patients get better. 

Topics will include ideas on causes, symptoms, and treatments (including a discussion of medications, different therapies and alternative strategies).  There will be time for questions and answers. Refreshments will be served.
